Yesterday was a rather slow day with absolutely nothing going on. Anyway, yesterday around 5:45, one of my clients came in and sat in a chair in front of my desk. Now this chair has had a problem before. I had a 300+ guy bend this leather and steel chair and ever since its sat a little lower than the other chair at my desk. So my client sits down and I'm working on his invoice and all of the sudden the chair starts bending and the guy is on the floor. It was all in slow motion all the while my client is going, (Oh no, OH NO!) His legs went up in the air and his arms flailed out to the sides. It took all that I had not to laugh out loud. My co-workers were snickering and ran over to see what happened. I thought they were going to help him up but they just stood there looking down at him trying to stifle their laughter. I ran over to him in an attempt to help him in some shape or form but I was useless as well since I was trying to compose myself like the others. Luckily he was a really good humored guy and eventually rolled himself off of the chair. He was super embarrassed but he played it off well. After he got up he then told us that its happened to him before while in a meeting and the chair snapped instead of slowly bending to the ground. Personally I would not have told anyone that. After he left I couldn't take it anymore and neither could my co-workers. We all busted up laughing so hard and wished we could have recorded it to put it on YouTube. A perfect ending to a rather dull day at the office. Oh, and my client looks just like Newman.
